Instagram removes Naturist Symbol account
Update: We’re back since 25 August 2023
On 20 February 2021, Instagram disabled the account of Naturist Symbol. Without any warning. Without any explanation other than the general statement that it violates their terms and conditions.
Naturally, I followed the appeal procedure. But now, two weeks later, still no answer.
The naturist community has long had problems with Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube and various other social media. Reason enough (on a personal note from Erik) to urge you once again to use the social media platform that respects privacy and accepts naturism: MeWe.com

This is just crazy. Insta like FB are totally f*cked up…
Plenty of people dis the symbol because it is deliberately non specific. This was made clear in the competition selection process. There has been nothing to suggest it can’t be slightly modified for personal use if requiring unambiguity. I quite happy using my own little version.
